In Q2 of 2025, Viridi Energy and the City of Waco entered an agreement to develop an RNG facility on their closing landfill

ASSET HIGHLIGHTS

  • Demonstrates Viridi’s collaborative partner approach, including responsibility for landfill gas collection and control system (GCCS) operations and upgrades to support future NSPS compliance.
  • Features a small, modular RNG facility that enables the City of Waco to monetize gas from a low-flow landfill.
  • Designed with long-term operational planning in mind, supporting RNG production post landfill closure and creating sustained post-closure revenues for both the project and the City.
